RECONNECTION I saw her on the street An unexpected surprise I never thought we'd meet The shock was in our eyes She was his mistress and didn't care how I felt Still wearing my red dress but did not have the belt ' She was my best friend Someone I could confide Our relations couldn't mend The anger would not subside This time was the first in more than twelve years My life was the worst full of anger and tears We sat and talked for what seemed the whole day After the mile we walked We found a lot to say He is now out of our lives and moved to someone new We were both his wives
