I saw her on the street
An unexpected surprise
I never thought we'd meet
The shock was in our eyes

She was his mistress
and didn't care how I felt
Still wearing my red dress
but did not have the belt

'
She was my best friend
Someone I could confide
Our relations couldn't mend
The anger would not subside

This time was the first
in more than twelve years
My life was the worst
full of anger and tears

We sat and talked
for what seemed the whole day
After the mile we walked
We found a lot to say

He is now out of our lives
and moved to someone new
We were both his wives
We're finished being blue
