“Dawn”
12/10/09 As dawn awakes and starts to rise, Her lingering fingers tempt me. Entrancing my eyes towards the skies, Once without warmth, she gives plenty Darkness creeps, she leaves me empty, A temptress, disregarding sin. Alone with dreams my mind lent me. I wait till she awakes again. My dreams are skewed as they begin. Coldness, I attempt to annul. Pushing through with lust for her skin, Endless desire to feel whole While time away has took its toll, To lose hope, I am resistant. As her distinct warmth clasps my soul, Her loyalty proves consistent.
