NEW PROMPT: Write a short story or poem about buying a new home and finding a room in the attic that's locked. You don't remember seeing the room on your tour, and you don't have the key, so you break in and find.... THE SECRET After I bought my big old house, I found a secret room. Found it exploring my attic--imagination bloomed! Broke down the door; found some neat books all filmy with old dust. That made me want to find out more; exploring was a must. When I first visited the house, I know I did not see. my great discovery of fun just waiting there for me. Now, I don't need another book, and I've run out of shelves! Still, one can't have too many books--they're handy when I delve into the inquiries I make; my love for all things old. Besides, they're such great company for when the weather's cold! Yes, I will keep my secret books---I'm like a little kid! I'll now go dig for further treats--and hope that more are hid!! 3
