Left Out Of Christmas
Even in the way they spell it. People often leave Him out, Just an X they use for Christ now, How it hurts a soul devout. Just an X instead of Christ now, Just a tree with angel hair, Holly first and then comes Holy, Presents come before a prayer. Families worshiping together Christian tales at parent’s knee Celebrating peace and glory That’s what Christmas means to me. How I wish your Christmas day is, Filled with Christ from first to last, And that His sweet presence lingers, ‘Till the whole New Year is past. 12/12/09 12 lines
