Angel in Disguise
A poem for the death of my girlfriends cat she has had her whole life

Early morning, when sleep is done
You awake and to your surprise
Your love and happiness has come
You have an angel in disguise

Perfect chemistry through and through
Thankful everyday for your prize
Always felt, but you never knew
You have an angel in disguise

A calming touch, a helping hand
Through all the truths, through all the lies
She loved you more than any man
You have an angel in disguise

Love lost but is never forgot
When life goes wrong, look towards the skies
The happiness and love she has brought
Your angel, no longer disguised
