Surprisingly, the shock of the icy snow beneath my body didn't prevent me from sliding down into unconsciousness. I was skiing in the creamy laps of a mountain clad in milky snow, when I heard the deafening roar of a hundred gigantic jet engines. A monster was all I saw, stirring up years after it went extinct. Gravity fueled the beast's rage as it ravaged everything on its way, speeding towards me faster than I could think and before I could turn back and try to flee, it had me smothered inside its colossal heart. Little do I know what happened to me next but I could see a humanly figure—its gaze fixed on me. That voice still rings in my ears: The day you make a thousand akin you smile, I will welcome you to my land for I don't want an inch of your sinful soul spoiling the sanctity of my holy home. It told me I was given a second chance to relive the purpose for which I was sent to Earth— To be kind to every species, not just man and spread my original mother tongue—the sweetest of them all— the language of love. I can still see that radiant smile vanishing inside the chill of the snow. Soon I was blinded by the sun rays so warm. They had dug me up from this icy grave, only to redeem me as a man. I was born all over again.
