New Prompt: Write a story or poem including the following words (bold them to make things easier for tomorrow's judge): snowman, elf, reindeer, wreath. However, the time frame of the story or poem must be July. CHRISTMAS IN JULY?!?! I looked outside my house; heard mischief in the yard! Could not believe my eyes--just couldn't disregard the festive lot of stuff just occupying space,, and I don't need to say that it was OUT OF PLACE! For, in my once-neat yard were decorations, vast. Did not know where they're from, and I was fuming, fast. Was not prepared, you see, for Christmas in JULY. I had ENOUGH last year; this made me want to cry! The characters were there--they even brought a wreath! It really was a shock--it made me grind my teeth! There was a tiny elf, atop a tall reindeer, led on by a snowman; he wouldn't let me near! I found myself enraged; I took right to my bed and left my visitors for a good book, instead!
