New Prompt! There are people who are possessed with the strangest phobias some are afraid of heights, some spiders, some confinement, some . . . the moon or stars. Create a character who is afraid of Santa Claus. Then write a story or poem about his phobia and how he/she deals with Christmas. BUT WHO WILL BRING MY GIFTS?? I'm terrified of Santa Claus; I don't know where to hide! He's even in the groc'ry store when I'm shopping inside. I leave him cookies; then I go and eat them up myself, instead of leaving them out there for that frightful old elf! I know I need to curb this fear; my relatives insist-- I just don't want to let this go-- but who will bring my gifts!
