DROPS OF JAZZ
Breezing through the door's cracks Elliot's sax roughs my skin; goosed into bumps the shiver tells my heart to increase the pace. Sultry calls flatten resistance as over I go to melody. Botti's stirring horn faintly lulls, reconstructing senses faulty. Pinpointed, bitter fades, passion strengthens, need is expressed, desire is stoked, tenderness is gathered, promises are sent, touches trace, lips brush, buds are soothed open as tastes brandied move down...warm. The door opens in winter bringing an inrush of strummed spring. In the manner of Montgomery, Bowman's licks say what I cannot while Harisim's keyed repute and strawberry accompaniment spread zest across my inhale. Torres' sumptuous flute seduces the block ordering memories into corners - as an infrared tissue massage of thrumming bass entices steps from snow to Meadows swaying on the reed.
