Prompt:
Witches hat Christmas Tree Heart-shaped candy box Hello Kitty A small puppy Hello Kitty, I received your letter in today’s post. It was wonderful to hear from you – you are such a dear friend. Thank you for your invitation to spend Christmas with you again this year. I am sorry to hear that your computer has gone to the junk heap. I hope you find a brand new one under your Christmas tree. We are so lost without our technical gadgets, aren’t we? Having to go back to our pen and paper -- such a chore. I have arranged for you to pick up a small puppy at your local Humane Society as a gift for you son James, as you requested. I know he will have many years of companionship with his new puppy friend. Thanks for the suggestion. All small boys like puppies, don't they. I can’t wait to see his face when he comes down Christmas morning. As for you, you will find your gift in tomorrow’s post. Do you know how difficult it is to wrap a heart-shaped candy box? There, now you know what you are getting from me -- the same as every year. I know they are your favourite, as they are mine. I am bringing an extra box with me so we can pig out to our heart’s content. I mailed yours just in case the weather was too stormy and I couldn’t get to your place in time. Enjoy them, but of course, I know you will. Do you remember how hysterically we laughed last year when your husband came downstairs on Christmas Eve wearing a red Santa suit with that silly witches hat. He is such a comic. I wonder what he will come up with this year. I am looking forward to spending Christmas with you again this year. I just hope the weather holds up and doesn’t interfere with my travelling plans. With all my love and best wishes for a wonderful holiday season. Your friend. Chanon 336 words
