Oh, Mom, today is the 24th of December.
It is a time that is mixed with good things and sad ones.
I remember your death and how hurt I was when it happened.
I love you dearly and always shall love you, Mom.
The days are so quickly passing.
The days are going so fast I can hardly keep up with them.
I remember how you were at Christmas time.
You allowed me to put up the tree.
You allowed me the pleasure of cooking the big meal.
it truly was the holidays back then.
We were home for Christmas.
I wasn't roaming around as I did on Thanksgiving some years ago.
I remember how much love went into the ironing you did for me.
I remember the great things you did for me.
There will not be a forgotten day of how much you loved me.
I didn't see it all the time and wish now that I did.
You were right about so many things.
I didn't see it at the time but do now.
I appreciate you and will always love you for loving me.
Happy Holidays Mom.
You deserve to be where you are.
I will be there too one day.
Not anything that I have done but because of Jesus.
Love to you now and always, cubby.
