The Christmas Eve Fractal of Light
"The spirit and wonder of Christmas Day, the love recaptured, for this we pray..."-a poem

Incessant prayers for peace and love,
The warmth of opportunity –
The birth of Christ from Heaven above,
A sense of holy unity.

A perfect union, strictest vows,
A chalice filled with yearning,
Vintage songs and tearful ‘wows’,
Hearts go aflutter, learning…

A fractal of light on Christmas Eve
Shall drown out all our sorrows –
For it is Heaven’s right to conceive
The gift of all tomorrows…

The spirit and wonder of Christmas Day,
So proud we can’t forget,
The love recaptured, for this we pray:
Let us never display regret.
