Do the storms last, darling?
caught in the wind
round and round it's swirling
Are these the end?
Lightning strikes at you and me,
go away, hide, and see.
Lightning strikes the ground now.
Lightning strikes, do you know how?
Missed you now.

Do the storms last darling?
winds blow hard
lifting us while it's storming
Now I am so scared.
Lightning strikes the tree now
run away, it will not know.
Lightning strikes now, and it sees.
Lightning strikes your eyes.
Missed me now

Do the storms last, darling?
can't save you now
It hits me as it's striking,
ending I know how.
Lightning strikes me so hard.
Love, I am not so scared.
Lightning strikes as it grabs.
Lightning strikes keeping tabs.
Missed nothing
