Scented Memories

Sweet heavenly divine
I have now seen,
memories of when
you captured me,
picture so perfect
a floating dream,
scent of an angel
with eyes that gleam.

Where do I start?
What do I say?
been a long time since
feelings came this way.
Old flames
New disasters
Boring looks
Dead laughter

But your cute face with
it's character and charm,
sent tingles and shivers
straight through this man.
A tender smile like
an oceans dream,
smooth warm skin like
a goddess in a stream.

Straight at you
I can only gaze,
shining beauty that
cries out amaze,
your soft voice forever
parades my mind
It whispers words that
brightens my time.

Wishful thinking of
what could be,
a soul-mate a friend
as long as your near,
waited for that moment
that became pure bliss
and soon - silently you'll
be the one I miss.

In hope and time
our paths will cross
to laugh and joke
with no remorse
To tame my wild
forever desire
to see you again in
body and mind.
