The Darkness Approaches
Taking an idea as simple as turning off a light, and going from there.

The room is very cool
The darkness approaches
My footsteps are loud
The darkness approaches
They thud with each step
The darkness approaches
I start to lift my head up
The darkness approaches
As I look up and see light
The darkness approaches
I start to squint my eyes
The darkness approaches
The light somewhat blinds
The darkness approaches
I begin to raise my arm
The darkness approaches
I feel the air on my arm
The darkness approaches
My hand finds it's target
The darkness approaches
My hand starts to close
The darkness approaches
As I touch what I grab
The darkness approaches
I feel nothing but bumps
The darkness approaches
I start to pull downwards
The darkness approaches
Tugging, I feel hesitance
The darkness approaches
I open my hand again
The darkness approaches
The chord flies upwards
The darkness approaches
I have let go
The darkness arrives
