"Guys, we have a problem." Kelsey said.

"What's that?" Matt asked wearily.

"We're just about out of gas. Which means we have to stop, but um, if Reinstein followed us and we stop then he might catch us, and if he followed us and we don't stop, we will be forced to stop and he'll catch us. Our only hope is that Reinstein didn't see us get off at the exit."

"I'll call Jack and ask him." Fay offered.

"Good idea Fay." Matt said.

Fay quickly dialed the number.

"Hello." a voice on the other end said. It wasn't Jack's voice.

"Joe!" Fay yelled as she recognized the voice. "How do you have Jack's phone? He's not at school and I just talked to him."

"Do you really think we would hang around school when we just saw you have a gun at your head, Fay?" Joe asked. "We came along with him."

"Oh." Fay smiled. God had really given her amazing friends. She only wished she could be as good of a friend back. "Well, we need to know, did Reinstein follow us when we got off at the exit?"

"Yes." Joe answered.

"Oy!" Fay yelled. "We're almost out of gas."

"We have no choice then." Matt said after hearing Fay say "Oy!" "We'll just have to stop for gas and hope that maybe Reinstein won't catch on this time. Kels, stop at the next gas station."

Kelsey nodded and made the next turn. She was followed by Reinstein's car, which was followed by Jack's car. Kelsey carefully got out of the car and started the procedures for putting gas in it. Reinstein got out of his car followed by Pastor Criden and proceeded to walk over to Kelsey and stick his gun at her head. Matt and Fay both stepped out of the car.

"You leave her alone!" Matt yelled.

"I'll let her go, if you two will come with us, without fighting, or running away." Reinstein said.

"Don't do it you guys! Run!" Kelsey screamed. By this point Jack, Joe, Eric, Giselle, and Laura had gotten out of Jack's car.

"Reinstein!" Jack yelled. Then he rushed at Reinstein. Reinstein took his gun away from Kelsey and shot at Jack several times, but Jack was nimble and quick, he was on the track team and he used those skills to the best of his ability at that moment.

"No!" Fay screamed when Reinstein had turned the gun on Jack. She ran up to him and grabbed the arm that he had the gun with and pulled it so that Reinstein shot the pavement. Pastor Criden rushed to take hold of Fay. Matt had pulled Kelsey out of the way by this time. When Reinstein regained composure he ran after Matt and Kelsey. He grabbed Matt. Jack was able to get a hold of Pastor Criden, but Criden swung his arm back and hit Jack hard enough that he fell to the ground. Joe, Eric, Giselle, and Laura tried their hand at rescue, but were shot at constantly, until Matt and Fay were locked in Reinstein's car and Pastor Criden was in the front seat with Reinstein driving away.
