NEW PROMPT: Write a story or poem in which everyday objects refuse to perform their expected functions. OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE! My stuff is acting OUT OF WACK-- out of my comfort zone! My mental horse has left its pack; a vir'tual shoe, it's thrown! I bravely turned on my machine to reach WDC-- but nothing worked too fast or clean; the joke was all on me! My hard drive sucked in all the bread just like a toaster would! I'm used to toast that's burned and dead, but THIS STUFF tasted good! The monitor acted just like my chil'dhood mirror did. It showed me riding on my trike-- as though I were a kid! Now, I don't know what's going on with all my machine stuff. I hope this foolishness gets gone, or writing will be rough!
