Oh Dad, time has swiftly passed since your Homegoing.

We will be observing your Homegoing next month for five years.

I love you so much Dad.

I love the things you taught me.

I love everything about you.

You were a good dad to me and I will always remember that.

There is so much I could thank you for.

There is so much adoration I could pay you for you're caring for me.

I remember the times when I got stranded in New York.

I would have to have stayed if you didn't send the money to get me out of there.

You never gave up on me.

I love you for that, too. Dad.

I remember the Christmases we used to have where you put up the tree.

i always loved that about you.

You wanted things to be right for Ervin and myself.

Not to forget Mom for she did what she could do to make it a joyful time.

Oh the memories are many, Dad.

I remember when you got to where you couldnt' take care of yourself anymore.

it was a sad time.

You died in a nursing home somewhere I know you didn't want to be.

You took with you the love you had for me and I miss that love.

You did so much with your life that it seems incredible now as to all the things you did.

You were a hard worker no matter where you worked.

I remember you held down two jobs for us to have the things we did.

I remember the late hours you were up with me when I was sick.

I remember to this day of how much you took care of me.

How could I not but love you now for all you are and have been?

I know that I am a better person today because of you, Dad.

I feel you would be happy for me in having come to know Bob.

He is a great man and one of whom my life is so much better with than it would be without him in it.

Bob cares for me and I know that you see what he does for me looking down from Heaven.

I know that you are there and in the same place as Mom is.

Bob is a man of whom my life is so much happier thanks to him for his love for me.

I am sure that you would have approval in your heart for Bob had you ever met him face to face.

Be happy for me, Dad.

I am very happy as I am.

With someone who cares for me is who Bob is.

Pray for Bob in your prayers as you pray for me.

I thank you, Dad for doing that.
