Without Winter Within Swaddled in grandma's crocheted Wool, memories exude waxy Droplets along ink residue, Leaked from my bald-point mind To defrost white serene Pages- with a writing passion. "The Writer's Cramp" NEW PROMPT:It is FREEZING COLD where I live. It hasn't been above freezing in over a week, and most days/nights have brought single digits along with a few mornings of minus temps. BRRR! I'm already sick of winter and it's only January 5! Laugh In honor of my pain, and to give me a few good ideas of how to handle this -- write a STORY or POEM about finding a way to escape winter. The only catch is, you cannot literally/physically move/relocate or travel in any way to do it. The "escape" must be accomplished some other way ... (Edited to clarify.) [6 lines]
