"Buried Alive"
Dreams of a child, if she should die.

Buried alive not a way to die
trapped in a coffin
deep in the ground
unable to shout
help me?

Can you hear me there
my mind on fire
claustrophobic
desperately
screaming!

Where are the gravediggers
that they may save a life
remove my organs
donated to
a child,

her parents broken hearted
unable to pray anymore
waiting time away
a headstone
on a grave.

Now a new sign appeared
Jesus holding my hand
I’m heaven bound
my organs alive
in a baby girl,

my life anew as the Angel
to love and guide her
holding her dolly
safely at home
in her arms.

Mom and Dad seeing a miracle
their child aglow again
a new heart beating
the color of life
by our Savior.
