Cache Lesson One – Part One (Take Two)
Okay, you wanted a new story idea… #18 – The Ending The final scene is a prisoner struggling with his guards—he is squirming, kicking and crying out that he doesn’t want to die. He is being taken to his execution. It’s a story about a serial rapist/murderer who is extremely careful about leaving any evidence—and is caught by a fluke. He is in the process of disposing of his latest victim when he swerves to avoid hitting a dog and crashes into a tree. He regains consciousness just in time to see the police pulling up behind him and his trunk has popped open. I’m actually surprised at what I came up with. I like the irony of a serial murderer who won’t run over a dog. I’d use this method again—but it’s not as much fun for me.
