I’ve seen you so many moonlit evenings
And watched as you lean through open doorways, Taking instructions and giving sage advice – You dress fashionably well, offering food And drink to this watchful, obedient man. Your smile and warmth, I cherish more and more each week That our long, beautiful friendship transpires. I finally extract the courage and spirit To ask you out for an evening, Just the two of us, And you confirm that this is what I want. You agree that we should get together And describe how you can fit me into Your busy schedule. I am truly blessed to be so madly in love with you! My love, you have come to me And lifted me with your spiritual awareness; I feel honored as we proceed to refine our relationship, While relishing our united, grateful, and compassionate souls!
