New Prompt: Write a story or poem involving a deadline of some sort that is missed. What happens? What was the deadline? I MISSED IT! I missed my deadline, high and wide, and now, I'm gonna have to hide! I had to be on time for sch'ool, but then I ran late--that's not cool! So, I was late to my first class and had to wait out on the grass where snow was coming down in drifts; the coming snow days would be gifts for students eager to miss days of school. We have well-known ways ways of enjoying our extra luck by catching rides on the snow truck! But tardy students miss that fun while being late when day's begun!
