Walls
        by BScholl   (the0hawk@Writing.Com)
Upon this heart, all full of sorrow,
Are built the walls which restrain us all.
We hope and pray for love tomorrow,
But hesitate, because in love we fall.
Two walls collide, a love is born,
And so the walls begin once more.
The arrow is shot, the heart is torn,
And pain begins, right from the core.
The walls are built, stronger now,
While all of the innocence leaks away.
Within these walls thy heart will bow.
I give thee but one word to say.
Tis' not to say to any who started,
With the best, whether great or small,
For all should know the --- Broken-hearted.

So, around this heart is built the wall.
None shall see it, no one that is... except for me.
