Optional Exercise:
Change point of View Goal: To show how different aspects enter or emerge from the material, depending on the POV you use. It's not simply a case of changing the I to he. Different POV alters how the story is perceived by the reader. What to do: 1. Think about an incident that happened to you in the past month or so--something that has stuck in your mind, although for what reason you're not sure. Maybe it was a birthday party you attended, or a minor car accident. It does not need to be an event with even a conflict...or anything that changed your life. Just a scene from your life. 2. Tell about the event in three different ways. First person, Second person, and then Third person Omniscient point of view.
