Hush
Hush. Silence sings a song of peace (Form: RemyLa Rhyme Form)

Hush

Hush. Silence sings a song of peace
as winter's hands paint an ivory scene.
I stand in this moment, frozen in time and place,
granting my busy thoughts surcease.

Surcease from cares that plague each day;
the upheaval of a life in motion
that inebriates the mind with random noises
while the soul slowly fades away ...

Away from the human essence
of self; toward the robotic routine
of existence where triviality matters -
toward dark, not luminescence.

Luminescence, like a soft blush,
reveals our surroundings through the heart's glow,
illuminating that we are more than ourselves.
Discovered in solitude ... Hush.
