THE MESSAGE OF LEAVES
Summer, autumn, winter, summer; Leaves grow, drop and again flutter. What is the message they utter? They say to man, “Listen Brother, Why should you mourn if someone dies? Why indulge in vain wails and cries? You shed many a tear that dries Your mind this secret never spies: That those who come here have to go. One day they have, to nature, bow. Away in the wind we too blow But once more in the spring we show”. * Written in aaaa, 8-8-8-8 format M C Gupta 20 January 2010
