Now

The minutes, hours, now years passed on too.
Forcing breath deep,

Steady to hold strong, hold back collapse;
This heart broken careless, coated in steel.

Understanding consequences rage
Transfixed longing passion.

Live the recipient of time in gratitude,
Grace those held tears once called was brave.

Bold acceptance the trough now feeds;
Unique copied prints, one, and the self absent me.

Fools heart wrenching pain valiant court;
Attempting seduction blood running cold stagnant staged.

Pleading release from chains, this time gone dim.
Humming the past, holds hands with the present.

Branding forever a scar, lone passage, lost fortune.

Alone, feeding from nothing, emancipated inert;
Yearning satisfaction in a prayer not said, or heard.

Shame lost in credence too lazy to care,
Spinning soulfully weightless in truth absent fear.
