Annual Event
A rebirth of life, of hope ...
a promise that we can cope.
Febrile Ascent
Algid Lament
Sweet Scent

Frosty Caress
Farewell Address
The final vestiges of winter's face
give way to the sun's embrace.
No Redress
Cold's Recess
Spring's Success

Form: The Trinet is a form of 3 stanzas. Each stanza should have 7 lines with the following word counts: 2/2/6/6/2/2/2. There is no rhyme requirement (but I couldn't pass up the challenge )

algid – cold, chilly
febrile – marked by a fever
