Dear me,
“Your loved ones will leave you, but you must not worry
Your desires might be torn apart but you must not worry…”

Always remember the lines of your favorite song mentioned above. A new year has begun; it’s time for you to begin the journey of self discovery. There are thousands of works you can’t do even if you want to, but that doesn’t mean you’ve entered this world empty-handed. Discover your strengths, rectify your weaknesses. Try to enjoy every moment of life. Hardships and challenges will definitely come your way, don’t run away from them.

Study at least two hours everyday: Books are your best friends. They’ll never misunderstand or betray you like humans. Good grades are like shields to protect you from sorrows or humiliation.

Do not brood: Sometimes you might see your friends wearing beautiful shoes or sandals. Maybe your peers can walk faster than you, or can climb four to five flights of stairs easily. Learn to accept reality, and be positive. A shoe-store might be like the biggest torture chamber; your walking-stick might be your constant companion. Never forget that your feet look completely normal, and internal problems are not visible. There are people with worse conditions.

Be creative: Write something new every weekend. Paint or draw even in the blank spaces of your assignments. Play your keyboard at least twice a week. Make eggshell greeting cards frequently. Send write-ups in local newspapers at least once a fortnight, and be a more active member of WDC.

Pray: Try to pray at least once a day.  Allah Almighty will always help you. No matter what happens, be honest. You’ll get guaranteed peace of mind.

Relationships: You’re a daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, student and friend. Try to be like a pillar for everyone around you. Be both firm and sweet about everything. Keep your arms open if people need hugs. Lend a shoulder to lean on. You love to spread love, be more loving this year.

Remember, life is not a bed of roses, but you must learn to make it so. Always be happy.
