LAUGHTER
It's all fun.

LAUGHTER...

It's infectious, like a cold.
Face quickly contorts --
and like a circus clown,
corners of the mouth turn up,
nose grows red and squenched, while
eyes convert into upside down crescent rolls.

And then…

As the balloon pops,
out comes uncontrollable laughter.
The dam has broken
and the river is rushing,
overflowing its banks while
our raft is tossed joyously to-and-fro,
with belly-aching cries of: stop, stop, stop!
