Painting by Frederic Leighton She Dreams Too tightly clutched, love's fragile bloom flees on scattered petals. The love that drifted from his restless heart, she'll search for in her dreams. Billowing tides of darkness engulf her troubled mind. She dreams. Entwined in her lover's arms again, she sighs; here, their love will never die. Beneath her skin, desire flows like molten sun, toward cheeks as flushed as petals of love's early bloom. In her dreams, he's hers forevermore.
