Unconditional Love

Dewdrops moistened the grass
as eyes filled with tears.

The future seemed bleak,
causing the mind to go blank.

Breathing grew heavy,
dreams brought to null.

I looked askance at my love
and knew that he understood.

He held my hand and
wiped away the tears.

The fears were swept away
and heart felt relieved.

New confidence arose as
hopes renewed, energized.

Dreams were again seen
and smiles played on lips.

The moon shined radiantly and
dewdrops moistened the grass.
