WHAT IS WRITTEN ON THE WALL
What’s written on the wall is For everyone to see. Some heed it, others ignore In a light hearted spree.. Some laugh it off with comments Abusive and furtive, Rather than face up the words That are true, assertive. Truth cannot be subverted By making fun of it, Or burying in the sand, One’s head like the ostrich. It’s the call of wisdom that In the end does prevail, Though the ignorant may choose To simply cry and wail. * Written in abcb, 7-6-7-6 format M C Gupta 28 January 2010
