Contests -- What fun!

I am so very happy, a couple of my favorite contests have come back! Two that always make my muse giggle with glee and take on a life of her own.....

I may never win the contest - and though I do enter to try to win, I enter more to entertain myself and stretch my imagination and see if I CAN meet the requirements and who knows I might win.....

Writing for contest is always in addition to other writing I do not the entire life blood. At times the inspiration from the contests carries over into other works I have in progress or new works.

Can you imagine our little commuity without these contests..... Me neither, I think life would be rather dull without some sort of little game or contest. What is writing without a challenge or contests, for that matter what is life without these things....

For those of you who said peaceful, I think maybe you should take a nap.
Life without these things is dull a full fledged snore fest.......

I believe that these types of things can give just the boost to the imagination that you need in order to let your muse take you to the next level.

I love to get reviews on these items, even if they are somewhat harsh or someone says -- you know this stinks... As long as they tell me why, I am ok with it. A review like that, makes me think hard about what I have written and strive to improve.
