How dare you cut your eyes at me,
like you don't like what you see. Turn your head to look away, like my face just ruined your day. This is who I am, who I'm meant to be, plainly, simply, uniquely me. Don't raise your voice to talk to me, my hearing's fine despite what you believe. You do not own me, you have no control, over what I do, how I live, where I go. As an American I'm free to be plainly, simply, uniquely me. I may fail on my first or second try, and you may laugh and roll your eyes. But do not doubt that eventually, I will succeed!! While being, plainly, simply, uniquely me. 1/29/2010
