New Prompt! I’ve been listening to music in the car on the way to work (when I don’t carpool,) and one song (from the Scarlet Pimpernel) has captivated me with its image of a falcon diving through the sky to catch its dinner. For today’s prompt, I’d like to use the following line in your story or poem: Like a hawk seizing prey . . . Use it as some kind of comparison – for a dying love, for a relationship gone sour, an awkward friendship, a business partner’s manipulations, or for whatever stirs your creativity. WHOLEHEARTEDLY! "Wholeheartedly" is always my answer when quizzed about how I grab hold of my life and squeeze meaning out of its many unexpected nooks and crannies. When asked to explain my one-word answer, I merely state that I grab life "like a hawk seizing prey" -- with an iron grip on the edges, and yet with enough gentleness to let love seep in through the cracks
