New Prompt! Prevention Magazine’s January 2010 ran an article about “Power Foods.” Blueberries, broccoli, walnuts, bananas, pears, carrots, and dark chocolate were some of the foods that made their list. Write a story or poem about “Power Foods.” SWEARING OFF THE GOO Swearing off the junk food goo-- oh whatever shall I do?? No more dough-nuts before dawn, less stray pounds to be put on! But I can mix what I gots-- 'nanners, berries and carrots dark choc'late and even pears-- power foods for she who cares! So, I'll swear off goo today-- no more diet games to play!
