It could have been rain or even snow, ha! It didn’t matter to Raman. He was quite drunk and the cold feeling was all same, both internal and external.

“It is so sad”, one of the commoner spoke. The sun was nowhere. The clouds were still.
“Hush! God is just. All happens for a reason”, another assured.
“Still… ”, he couldn’t finish. The sight was too much to pity for. A chill went up their spine just thinking about the recent incident. Both of them left Raman to his grief.

The cold was getting stronger. Raman felt a bit irritated. Ha! He smiled. He still had some emotions left in him. He sat down. Where to go now? Man it is weird! Never! Never did he question about anything in his life. Everything that came he accepted. Everything that was a problem was a part of life. Anything that he couldn’t face was to be avoided. There was always an alternative for questions in life, but today there was nothing except questions in his life.

Three days earlier there was a terrorist bombing in Pacific Colony, killing almost 500 family members and crippling around 700 others. They were all either present or ex army men with their family staying for the up-coming UN festival for peace. Major Ranvijay was Raman’s father. His family was among the 500. Raman was out sightseeing. It was his first time in New York City. When he returned all he found was ashes. He had a sister, Sheetal, 8 years old. His mom had promised him his favorite lunch.

Ha! The questions are all building up, but everything apart, “where to go now?”
