I LOVE AUTUMN: an acrostic—award winner
In autumn grounds are full of Leaves yellowish and brown, On which squirrels jump and run, Venturing across ground. Enter the dog, he chases A squirrel round and round, Unmindful of his master, Though he calls him around. Until sun sets, dog and the Master will play their games. No pet so entertains! Written in abcb, 7-6-7-6 format. Written as an acrostic around the prompt: “I love autumn”. Awarded second prize in the "Invalid Item" Initially written as entry 459936 in the book FAITH, NATURE & INSPIRATIONAL, {item: 959448}, which was replaced by the present item on 2 February 2010.
