Write a poem or story that uses the opening line of “Time Out” by Robert Frost: “It took that pause to make him realize.” THE PAWS' PAUSE My kitten crunched across the pristine snow! He'd wondered why his yard began to glow! He stopped to root around under a tree; suddenly felt as chilled as he could be. He turned and ran and begged to be let in; he wanted his paws' thawing to begin. It took that pause to make him realize his paws were WAY TOO COLD to recognize!!
