Special February Prompt in honor of Valentine's Day.
Please mention "a lost love" somewhere in your short story or poem. Waves. The word itself brings to mind the continual sensual motion of the sea as it rolls ceaselessly to the shore. These breakers bring so much joy to my heart…. The constant shifting of the ocean with foaming swells kissing the sand as it rushes to greet a lost love. What a sight it is! Peaceful and enduring; a calming presence. Oh, to be lulled to sleep by this eternal surging! An enigma enveloped in a puzzle shrouded by mystery. It sometimes rages, crashing on the sand. Fluctuating, swaying and inviting, it beckons softly to all of us on land. Evermore a source of sheer amazement, I will always be drawn to its fluidity. 25 lines
