MISS FOLLY: a ghazal

I so want to kiss Folly.
My dear blonde girl Miss Folly!

Beauty and brains do not mix,
Sometimes it is bliss, folly.

In the wise men’s conference,
It’s just a sweet dish, folly.

Greatest minds it can devour
Like piranha fish, folly.

O Knowledge, even thy sword
Is bent when we swish folly.

On April Fool’s Day this year
Khalish, I just wish folly.
