I died in a car accident,
my wife died inside.
I broke up with the girl I loved,
The pills, well I took them all.

Where did my heart go?
I asked God while I died!

I cryed out and I heard no answer.
They all stood beside me and asked.
Why? Why are we here?
I took the question as if I knew.
God will tell us.

But why , they asked?
Like when Jimmy drowned,
Like when my wife left,
Like when I couldn't find the right words,
Why?

I stumbled, stood near a support,
I said God knows,
but when it came down to it,
I didn't know either.

But it was true, He was there,
we just were so impaitent.
and cryed in corners,
There, there and we were there.


We couldn't wait that long,
the pain and grief,
No God, I wanted you now
He spoke with love.

I was always here,
I was always.

And when it was all said and done.
Always was the word,
because I was there.
I felt His pain,
because He is always.
