Love’s meaning is a jungle,
From whence out jumps the tiger – He’s lonely and single, Seeking a tigress, not a liger. He decides upon marriage With his ideal lover, But fate aims to disparage, While he’s yet to recover. The tiger longs for a beauty Who feels he’s no match, Hoping it’s another male’s duty To make this tigress his catch. But delay is a problem For those finding true love – It’s no simple task to tell them, It’s their pride that they dream of. For the well-oiled machine Of love’s essence to evolve, Your partner’s pride must be seen, While your own needs dissolve. So the days drift along While he lunges and strides, But his pride remains strong, And his poor heart abides! Though this triangle of love Must survive and endure, For the tiger, who he dreams of, Is giving ground, to be sure…
