MUZZLING MEAN RATS
The fools rush in where angels fear to tread, Rather than argue facts, they shout instead. They often have paranoid tendencies; Like a bull, everywhere they just see red. Just as a rabid dog does venom drool, So does spout profanities a vile fool. His unending constant nonsense chatter Can make even a sane man lose his cool. The best way to deal with a fool is this: Never ever forget this wise dictat: “Do not expect a mean rat to behave, It has to behave simply like a rat.” Why not leave a mean squeaking rat as such? Trying to muzzle it may not mean much. * Written in aaba, pentameter. M C Gupta 9 February 2010
