Color

Uniqueness is weak?
Why is this so?
How to achieve our peak,
if lost in the slow?

To show compassion
to be caring,
it’s out of fashion
it’s become so wearing

If we show nice
it’s often seen as stupidity.
However, it is no vice,
this view is the height of mediocrity

I too will keep the view,
that’s shared by few,
let’s keep our color and vivid hue.
I’ll be me and you be you.

This is a responsive poem in response to the poem "Invalid Item"   by A Guest Visitor .  I am thinking of it as more like inspired by or in conjunction with the poem though, it makes more sense to my simple mind.  Either way it’s a good poem.  The original one, not this one.
