Michael Jackson
He was the king of pop, The great Michael Jackson. His spirit was born free, Remained so till the end. In Free Willy he sang “Will you be there” so well That till today he is Remembered for this song. In his career he did Go to many countries To give performances In his magical shows. For a long time he had Rather been homeward bound Where ultimately he Succumbed to his ill fate. He said, never cry wolf And face life as it is. He lives in hearts today Of millions of his fans. * Written in 6-6-6-6 format * Written for “Movie Mania Madness!” contest, "Invalid Item" • The prompt for this poem was to use the following movie titles: Born Free Free Willy Homeward Bound Never Cry Wolf These have been used in the following stanzas respectively—1,2, 4 and 5.
