Because of you I came so far in this world
I never met you, the presence never denied.

In all the good as well as bad happenings
I see the reasons and need of your doings!

May be always behind the scenes you stay
It’s your guidance that shows me the way.

Without you I’ll be completely lost soul;
All I want is you, my source, unseen soul.

A card, candy wishing ‘happy Valentine’
Singing aloud, ‘will you please be mine?’

Assigned day for asking, ‘Be My valentine’
it sounds more of a ritual than really genuine.

Children have to exchange cards in school,
Whether they want to or not, no one asks

The request ‘to be my Valentine’ on this day
made with no signs of love in the year away.
How to respond it? Should one get excited?
Or just join a party wearing mask as expected?

Life in Harmony

Life is a god given gift, live it well.
Every moment is one-time show,
bring out the best, spend it well
even in downpour and or snow.

Early childhood, colorful spring-
tender years, with loving care;
warm summer, youthful swing-
shadows of fall, wealth in air

Winter freeze, meditating trees,
golden years, pondering minds;
Mother Nature’s orderly spree,
seek accord in all the winds.

To make the gift true success;
live each season as it passes.

Given by the god as a lucky lift!

A friend forever, with a big heart
always will stroke a minor hurt.

A friend so considerate and kind
never leaves me lonely in a wind.

I can express my emotions freely,
for a response be ever so friendly!

A friend directs me to the right,
clears a cloud, brings the bright,
criticizes whenever necessary,
honors the excellence and glory!

Feels so lucky to have a friend
as forever as the life will end!
