MISSION IMPOSSIBLE
--if only. . . .

I'm on a frantic mission to civilize my life;
a mission so impossible, I ponder it with fright!

I'm messy and too pouty and I burn all that I cook;
but instead of cleaning up my life,, I'd rather read a book!

I schedule and I plan it, but it's all to no avail;
I'd rather just ignore it all and put it up for sale!

So, I'll just plod along, making my progress as I go--
and hope for all my efforts, I'll have something great to show!!
